Dr. Miller is originally from Papillion, Nebraska. She attended undergraduate school at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, and then went on to earn her DVM degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Iowa State University. She practiced medicine in Winner, South Dakota before returning to Nebraska.

Dr. Miller is trained in echocardiology and offers cardiac evaluations for adult dogs and cats. She specializes in assessing and monitoring conditions such as dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), and mitral valve disease (MVD) in non-neonate patients. Using advanced diagnostic techniques, she helps pet owners understand their pet’s heart health and develops tailored treatment plans to manage these conditions and improve quality of life.

Dr. Miller’s family includes her husband Ross, son Taos, daughter Coulee, as well as miniature dachshund, Rillo and Kelpie, Boo.  She also has a cat named Walter and four horses. In her spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys riding horses, gardening and running.
