Dr. Gaines is a Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine 1999 graduate. She has been practicing in the Omaha area since 1999 and opened Ridgeview Animal Hospital in 2001. She is a member of NAVM, AVMA, and NVMA. Her vision is to exceed your expectations. Your pet will receive the highest quality of medicine, anesthesia, surgery, and care. It is important to her that you are comfortable with how we treat you and your pets. You are welcome to be present for treatment, exams, vaccinations, blood draws, etc. Dr. Gaines performs ultrasounds and echocardiograms for our patients and on referrals from other clinics. Dr. Gaines loves building relationships with clients, practicing preventative medicine, and has a passion for dermatology.

Dr. Gaines and her husband, Adam, have five children: Jack, Lucy, Vivien, Jay, and Eddie. They also have a few grandkids! They have two pets – a cattledog named Angus and a Sphynx named Benjamin. The Gaines family loves to visit Okoboji.  Dr. Gaines, our technicians, and often Adam, volunteer at the humane society in Okoboji doing spays and neuters, as well as vaccinations, on the rescued cats.
